Tri des objets en dons, recyclage et déchets

Eco-conscious junk removal

The landfill last,
not first

Clearing a basement, an estate, a unit before it sells, or a job site. We load, we sort, and whatever can still serve somebody else goes on to serve them.

The sort

Three piles,
made in front of you

Sorting happens as we load, not "later at the garage". You see where each thing goes, and you can pull back anything you forgot you wanted to keep.

What gets donated

Solid furniture, working appliances, dishes, books, clothes, toys. Off to the Montréal organizations that put them back into circulation.

What gets recycled

Cardboard, metal, wood, electronics, paint, oils, mattresses. Off to the ecocentre or the right sorting facility — each has its own stream, and it isn't the same truckload mixing them together.

The rest

What's broken, mouldy or genuinely finished. It's the smallest pile, and it's the only one headed for landfill.

When people call

Often the worst week
of someone's life

An estate to empty in ten days. A parent moving into care. A unit to hand back to the landlord on Monday. It's almost never a happy phone call, and we know that walking in.

Practically: we can work without you on site, send photos of what we find before anything is thrown out, and leave the place swept.

Worth knowing

Two or three details

What does junk removal cost?

By the space it takes in the truck, not by weight or by item. Send three or four photos of the room and we'll give you a range before anyone drives out.

What won't you take?

Regulated hazardous materials: propane tanks, industrial solvents, asbestos, biomedical waste. We'll tell you where to bring them, or refer you to a specialized service.

Can it be combined with a move?

Yes, and it's the cheapest way. The crew is already there, the truck runs full in both directions, and you aren't paying for a second trip.

Tell us what you're moving

Two minutes now, a firm price today. And if you'd rather talk to a person, the phone still works.
